Description:
Stellenbosch Mountain (Afrikaans: Stellenbosberg or Die Groteberg). This mountain overlooking the town of Stellnbosch in the western cape. The climb is long and unrelenting but rewards hikers with spectacular views over False Bay and the Stellenbosch town. There are some sections that require some scrambling
Once you reach the “top”, of the Stellenbosch Mountain Summit, you will have amazing views of the Jonkershoek Valley. The descent requires you to stay focused as there are many loose rocks, but the trip back down will be absolutely spectacular.
